Bridge to Tomorrow

quote bg

We want our communities to thrive and to continue to experience an improving quality of life. We must continue to do what we can do to engage, to collaborate, to lead, to inspire, and to commit to making a positive difference. We are in a community, and we need to embrace it!

— S. Dale High

Lancaster City is the heart and soul of the County. High Foundation provides funding to create a vibrant, thriving City. We invest, too, in Lancaster County and other communities in which the High companies provide economic investment and employment.

In building the Bridge to Opportunity, initiating City revitalization at the grassroots level is key. This means investing in initiatives that support healthy neighborhoods and forging deep and enduring partnerships with like-minded local organizations.

Our long-standing partnerships have already effected much change. We value the conversations that spark innovation and ideas that serve as catalysts for the change we make together. We value being at the table with a diverse and inclusive representation of leaders and stakeholders who share the goal of eliminating poverty and achieving social change.

The Extraordinary Give

Since 2012, ExtraGive has supported more than 500 local organizations and raised more than $82 million for our community. Most importantly, it has inspired more than 40,000 individuals to engage in supporting a cause they care about.

As a Presenting Sponsor, High Foundation is contributing $100,000 or more to the Extraordinary Give. Partnering with the Lancaster County Community Foundation and other corporate sponsors, this group creates a pool of funds exceeding $500,000 that enables every dollar donated during the event to be stretched to go the extra mile for causes in our community.
